This week, the Anyscor team attended ‘The Drive for Success’, an inspiring event organised by Fingal Chamber and hosted by Joe Duffy Group at their Airside location in Swords. The event formed part of Local Enterprise Week 2026, a nationwide initiative designed to support and inspire entrepreneurs, start-ups, and growing businesses.
Representing Anyscor at the event were Alya and Mark, who attended the evening’s exhibition, panel discussion and networking session on behalf of the company. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with other local businesses and entrepreneurs, while gaining valuable insights from leaders across sport and business.
High-Performance Leadership and Inspiration
‘The Drive for Success’ brought together an exceptional panel of speakers who shared their experiences of leadership, resilience, and high-performance thinking. The discussion featured notable figures including double Olympic champion Kellie Harrington, Eddie Wilson (CEO of Ryanair), Niall Horgan (Co-Founder of Gym+Coffee) and Gavin Hydes (CEO of Joe Duffy Group), with the conversation moderated by entrepreneur and podcast host Gary Fox.
The panel explored what it takes to lead and sustain momentum in competitive environments, drawing parallels between elite sport and entrepreneurship while sharing practical lessons on resilience, focus and execution.
Showcasing Anyscor
As part of the evening, Anyscor was also invited to exhibit our business, giving us the opportunity to showcase the platform to attendees and members of the wider Fingal business community. This exhibition space allowed us to demonstrate how Anyscor powers live scoring and fan engagement for amateur and grassroots sports, while connecting directly with entrepreneurs, business leaders and potential collaborators.
Being able to present our platform in person and discuss our vision for grassroots sport with other businesses was a valuable experience and highlighted the strong sense of collaboration within the local enterprise ecosystem.
Connecting with the Local Business Community
Beyond the panel discussion and exhibition, the evening provided excellent networking opportunities with members of the Fingal business community. Events like these play an important role in bringing entrepreneurs together, encouraging collaboration, and helping companies share their experiences.
It was great to see the continued support from Local Enterprise Office Fingal in helping businesses grow and thrive. Initiatives such as Local Enterprise Week provide a platform for local companies to learn from industry leaders, expand their networks and discover new opportunities for growth.
Flying the Flag for Anyscor
A big thank you to Fingal Chamber for organising such a fantastic event and to Joe Duffy Group for hosting the evening in Airside. Alya and Mark represented Anyscor brilliantly, flying the flag for the company and engaging with fellow entrepreneurs and innovators throughout the event.
We’re always delighted to take part in initiatives that celebrate and support local enterprise, and we look forward to continuing to build connections within Ireland’s thriving business community.
